Biography

Peng Hongjun is at the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He studied under Professor Du Nianzu, a renowned ophthalmology expert, and graduated from the graduate program in oculoplastic surgery; he was a postdoctoral fellow at the UCLA School of Medicine. He is a member of the Ophthalmology Specialty Committee of the Hainan Medical Association and one of the founders of the Oculoplastic Surgery Specialty at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center.

He specializes in the treatment of corneal diseases, ocular surface diseases, eyelid diseases, and ocular tumors. He has extensive experience and considerable expertise in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, including eyelid reconstruction, ptosis correction, blepharophimosis syndrome correction, movable artificial eye and orbital repair, eye bag removal and double eyelid surgery, botulinum toxin wrinkle removal, and injectable cosmetic treatments. He was also among the first in China to apply laser technology in the specialty fields of oculoplastic surgery and aesthetic medicine.
